Art exhibition

The exhibition features local artist Anthony Woodward. Describing his style as ‘modern classical,’ Anthony obtained a degree in Fine Art at Cambridge College of Art. His preferred medium is oils, although he also works in charcoal, pencil and watercolour. In the past, Anthony's work has been featured in The Times, BBC South Today, Vogue, Mayfair Times and BBC One. He also co-created the striking Jubilee mural underneath Salisbury’s Milford Bridge, in 2012.  Anthony was born in London, but is local to Downton, and has lived in the village for the last 20 years.
