Have you got a spare room?
Some of you may know Svitlana Kondzelya, a Ukrainian national who has made Downton her home since she had to leave her native land due to the invasion. She and her son, Ivan, have become a part of the community - Ivan goes to Downton Primary School and Svitlana has organised some successful fund-raising events to raise money for Ukrainian causes. Her father is also temporarily living in the village, but now needs alternative accommodation. If you have a private room to rent, and are willing to sign up to the Homes for Ukraine scheme (and earn £500 per month), then please contact either Svitlana (07548 710057, email@example.com) or Beth Negus, the local Homes for Ukraine co-ordinator, who can guide you through the whole process and answer any questions. Beth can be contacted on beth@executive english.eu
