Green Network Plant Swap

Downton Green Network set up a stall outside the library recently to encourage gardeners (both experienced and novice) to swap plants, or take away plants that were surplus to requirements (for a small donation).  The stall was well supported throughout the morning and although a few plants were left over, it was almost a completely different set from the ones that had been there at the start.  Most of these found a home during the course of the afternoon, having been collected from the ‘surplus stall’ in Gravel Close.
