News from the Bowls club

The clubhouse has recently been refurbished, and the bar is open on Thursday evenings and Saturday lunchtimes whilst matches are being played.  The club are looking forward to welcoming visitors to “relax & watch a good game of bowls in the sun, with a beer in hand”.

At the time of going to print, the club’s various teams are holding their own in competitive leagues.

Anyone who is interested in giving bowls a try can visit sessions on Mondays  between 2 and 4pm, or Fridays between 6 and 8pm.  All equipment will be provided free of charge - as well as light refreshments.  Flat soled shoes are the only requirement.
