Could you be a governor?

Both schools have vacancies on their governing bodies for some local expertise.  The governing committee’s role is to provide focussed governance for the school at a local level.  It does this by supporting, challenging and encouraging in two principal areas: vision, ethos and strategic direction and the educational performance.  The role is to work with the other governors, using professional or community expertise, to benefit the school and enhance the experience and opportunities for pupils.
