A new manager - and lots of activities

News from Ashley Grange

Ashley Grange Nursing Home has recently welcomed Alison Wetherall as their new care home manager. Ashley Grange is hosting a meet-and-greet event on Friday 20 September 2 - 4pm. Alison will welcome families to meet the team and learn more about the amenities and care provided at Ashley Grange, while enjoying afternoon tea and entertainment from a local performer. Alison says, "We are hosting this event to help visitors understand how our team can support their loved ones."

On 19 September, resident Joan White will be celebrating her 100th birthday. Joan loves flowers, so the team is asking the community to send hand-crafted flowers, which can be painted, crocheted, knitted, or even crafted out of egg boxes, to help mark this milestone birthday.

On the last Tuesday of every month, parents and children are invited to the home for an afternoon of fun, music and interaction as part of the 'Jiggy Vintage' programme. The session includes colourful props, puppets and music. The residents enjoy watching the children have fun with bubbles, puppets, colourful lights, music and dance. Jiggy Wrigglers provide music, movement and sensory developmental classes for children from 0-5. More information from jiggywrigglers.com.

On 31 October, the home will be hosting its Trick & Treat event from 3:30 - 5:30 pm, where children are invited to pop in after school for a spooktacular afternoon of fun, games, and treats.
