Speed Indicator Device - operators needed

Downton Parish Council is working with Redlynch Parish Council to ensure drivers adhere to speed limits, making our community safe for all. The two councils are sharing a Speed Indicator Device (SID) which monitors the speed of oncoming traffic and if the vehicle speed exceeds 30mph the sign illuminates to remind the driver of the 30mph limit.

Now, the council is looking for volunteers to assist with removing the device and putting it in a different location in the village, once every month or two. Training will be provided.

The council would like to thank those who have signed up already.

Have you got some time to assist?
