Downton's home-made masks
Downton and Woodfalls Community Mask Tree, with the support of the village, has raised just over £3000 to donate to Naomi House and Jacksplace. Volunteers have been sewing masks for some months, making a range of sizes and styles. All masks are washable with a normal washing load. Pop-up trees have taken place in a variety of locations and people have been able to choose a mask for a suggested donation of £2.
Production is now slowing down, but over the next few weeks a selection will be available at the Lover Repair Café, donations from which will go to the Stars Appeal.
Downton surgery is planning to have face coverings available soon, and is looking for volunteer makers. Contact Carol Baker 510296 if you can help with this.
