Dance show: Birds and Trees

A double bill of dance performances inspired by nature, entitled “Birds and Trees”. The show is performed by Dance Six-0, a Salisbury based dance company for people aged 60 and over, which includes 2 local Downton residents.  The dances were originally created for children and have been performed in primary schools across Wiltshire.  They have now been adapted for broader audiences. The two pieces are: ‘Bird Nerd & The Red List’ by Marie-Louise Flexen, billed as “an exciting, dance theatre piece, focusing on popular UK birds on the endangered species 'red list'” and ‘The Man Who Planted Trees’, by Dance Six-0, a “a meditative dance piece that will take you on an inspiring journey”.  For further information and tickets (costing £10) contact rosalindd60@gmail.com
