Horticultural Society Autumn Show

The Autumn Show will be held in the Memorial Hall at 2pm on Saturday 31 August. Admission is free, and exhibits will include chrysanthemums, gladioli, dahlias, pot plants, vegetables and fruit, as well as the floral arrangements. This show also has a large Bake-Off section with prizes for the best carrot cake, cheese scones, cheese straws, flapjacks, shortbread, Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle cake, tray bake and fruit scones. The winner of the best Dundee cake will be awarded the President’s Cup. You do not have to be a member of the society to enter and you do get your entry back afterwards.
