Leisure Centre Family Fun Day

The Leisure Centre is holding its Family Fun Day on Sunday 31 August, 10am - 4pm.  The entire event is free of charge, including a hog roast and free sweets.  One of the key attractions will be the chance to hurl wet sponges at a member of the Leisure Centre Staff, who’ll be selected by a vote of members. “We’re going to build a pillory, and we’ll be asking for charity donations,” says the centre’s Dave Taylor. "I'm just hoping it won't be me who gets wet!"  There will also be bouncy castles, a test your strength machine, free class demonstrations, archery, a shooting gallery, zorb ball sumo, and competitions to win free membership, personal training, and massages.
