At the Battle of Trafalgar, aboard the Royal Navy and French warships were a number of women who played an important part in the conflict. Some were married, others were disguised as male powder monkeys and nurses. This is the story of some of the ladies who served in Nelson’s navy.

About the event
The event starts at 10:30am (with doors open at 10am) at Woodfalls Methodist Church, The Ridge. Admission: £4, includes refreshments. There is no need to book - parking is at the rear of the church.
