Breamore Railway Path

Recently upgraded for walkers and cyclists
The Breamore Railway Path has recently been upgraded and offers a two-mile walking route with a firm, level path, running through the Avon Valley, providing walkers with views of the surrounding countryside and opportunities to observe local wildlife. The route can be started from either Burgate Cross or South Charford. The Countryside Service has worked in partnership with Breamore Parish Council, the New Forest National Park Authority, and the Ringwood and Fordingbridge Footpath Society to carry out these improvements, which have involved cutting back vegetation, upgrading the surface, and removing barriers to improve accessibility. You can download the route from hants.gov.uk/thingstodo/countryside/walking/breamorerailway
