Family support at the Library

Wiltshire Family Hub are offering a regular drop-in service at Downton Library on the 4th Thursday of every month from 10am - 12noon (although it is advisable to check their Facebook page for any unforeseen date / time changes: facebook.com/FamilyHubWiltshirecouncil/)

Support is on offer with all aspects of family life, including DLA applications, co-parenting, early learning, SEND, and signposting to other services.  Their aim is to provide early support before challenges become more difficult to manage. When required, families may also be able to access one-to-one support from Family Hub Practitioners through the referral process.

The local Family Navigator is Sam, who is ready for people to come and talk to her about what life is like looking after children and young people, and to come and find out what children's groups, events and support is on offer.
