Hampshire Open Studios

A chance to visit artists at home

This year Hampshire Open Studios annual art trail is taking place from Saturday 22 August - Monday 31 August.  The visiting public will be able to meet artists in their homes, studios and galleries free of charge to see every type of art and craft on offer in the county, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, glass, wood, metal and jewellery. This year there will be over 300 venues open, many in the New Forest including our local area in Downton, Redlynch, Hale, Breamore and Woodgreen. Local glass artist Lynn Purcell is joining the event and opening up her studio at The Cornmill, High Street throughout - although if you are wishing to visit on Monday 24 or Thursday 27 August, you should make an appointment.  For more details on Lynn's event, click here.
