Repair Cafe in Downton

As Christmas approaches, The Repair Cafe team would like to remind people that they are available to sort out broken tree lights, Christmas ornaments and nativity figures.  As an added incentive, mulled wine will be on the menu this year.

The cafe visits Downton on the first Saturday of every month, from 10am - 12 noon, so will be ready to receive your repair jobs at the Baptist Church, South Lane on December 6, January 4 and February 7.

The team currently has vacancies for a book repairer, a seamstress and a wickerworker.

Over the Christmas period, the cafe at Redlynch Village Hall will be open for pick-up and drop-off only on 24, 31 December and 2 January.  It will be closed on 26 December.  Service will then resume as normal in the New Year - Wednesday and Friday mornings, 10am - 12 noon.
