Repair Cafe completes over 8000 repairs

It's open in Downton once a month too

The Repair Café reported completing its 8,000th repair job during August. The team provides repair services for furniture, ceramics, electrical items, clothing, and other household or personal items, in exchange for a donation. They have recently contributed £240 to the government DEC Gaza Disaster Fund, which is match funded. Since the venture began, over £50,000 has been donated to charity. You can bring items that need repairing to either Redlynch Village Hall (Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon) or Downton Baptist Church (first Saturday of the month, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon).
